We also learned that Brendan's method of cooking pizzas is good for a family pizza night, but to do it all night long requires a commercial pizza stone. Yes. He broke it. The good folks at the pampered chef promised quick replacement as long as Brendan never gets to cook with it again. OK, the second addition was mine - but seriously. Be careful boy. This week we might grill those pizzas - no stone to worry about there.

Have you ever worried about what to do with the leftover pizza dough? Me too. I decided caramel rolls were the way I would go with it. They had some crunchy bits from waiting for their turn in the pizza oven, but they must have been good because before I could take a picture of the baked product... they were gone! Hooray - less food waste in the Dunleavy/Keenan household.
Anyway- 6 guests - all fed and happy. I call it a success. Aside from the loss of the pizza stone and the end of the purple juice that is.
Hey - that was fast. PAMPERED chef indeed. They must have known that we needed the new stone quickly, as it has arrived.
ReplyDeleteLet's see if he can break a pizza stone three weeks in a row.
